How This Course Will Help
In this Real Talk Series Workshop, we’ll address the frustrations that both you and your fertility patients may have that can prevent optimal outcomes. You and your patients both have the focused goal of creating healthy babies, but that path may be long and difficult for the patients and for you and your team… and there never seems to be enough time to achieve your goal.
We will share in this workshop actionable ways you and your staff can be more intentional in all aspects of your patient relationships as well as simple ways to communicate more clearly to help those you serve better understand and participate in their own care.
Based on the pregnantish Real Talk Survey, we know that the relationship your patients have with you and your team along all stages of their journey can make all the difference when it comes to finding the solution they need — not only by addressing the physiological needs of your patient to “make a baby,” but also providing the psychological and emotional support for them to stay committed to the process.
“I stayed because of how many people said how great they were. I finally realized that some people just click, and some people don’t. When I moved on, I found the absolute perfect fit. I felt it from the very first second walking into the office. I value the relationship — the feeling that they are in it with me and invested just as much as I am.”

But first, a bit of background on our guidelines.
The Real Talk Relationship Guidelines were created with the goal of improving retention of and success with fertility treatment patients by enhancing the patient-provider relationship — without either party spending more time in the clinic.
The guidelines are grounded in research, driven by data from real patients, and supported by practical applications offered by reproductive medicine experts.
“Taking action to mitigate burnout requires…focus on the activities that patients find important to their care and which enables and empowers clinicians to provide high-quality care…an emphasis on the human aspects of care…and deriving professional goals and actions from the needs of patients.”

Our goal today is to share some of the successful relationship tips and tools to better support patients while also helping them and your team. We want to help you inspire more patients to stay in treatment at your practice — and create happier patients within the valuable and limited time you share together during every office visit.
